What Is Hunt Proposing?
Hannah Hunt talks about the childcare plans that were a massive part of the budget. She says it sounds great in theory because we're looking at being able to protect women's careers as early as you choose. Along with this came the increase in funding for those hours for nurseries. People who are in universal credit are now going to be able to have their child care costs paid upfront so they don't have to suddenly find hundreds of pounds to put their child in for the full 40 hours or whatever. It is a good proposal and I was really impressed actually.
