The Influence of the Empire on the Black Diaspora

In the 1920s, 1930s, there's a lot of black ferment across the globe and predominantly black societies. And so colonizers are aware of this and they're worried and they're threatened. A big influence was Marcus Garvey and his short-lived empire. The literature is moving through the very mobile people in Jamaica who were products of capitalist development in Jamaica.
