The Importance of Moral Judgment
How easily disgusted you are seems to be related to some of your political beliefs and attitudes in a way that I thought was good. But for people who are studying moral judgment, the dependent variable the outcome of interest is simply the judgment of rightness or wrongness. Sometimes they shape more the behavior of trying to convince others or fighting with others than they do your own behavior. It's never really been about influencing behavior directly.
