Is Your Metric Going Awry?
Goodheart's law is that once a measure becomes a target, it ceases to be a good measure. You're going to find yourself gaming this system sometimes and you want to evolve your metrics with time. Even when imething ar meaningless, as like what the fitbit tells me i did, we obsessed with it. Sothat's why i argue in the book that unless you have the right metrix, you're not going to get anywhere. But beyond that, it's remarkable many people don't have their metrix.
