I think the standard education model does this thing where it sort of implicitly conveys the message that what's going on in the classroom is actually not super valuable. And especially when you contrast that with teachers explicit statements of like, Oh, you'd better pay attention. You know, this is going to be super important to you in the future. I think they're outstanding teachers that manage to dodge these dynamics through other means. But if you take like the median public school teacher, they’re actually giving too much information and hyping up the information too much."
