The LHCB and the New Force of Nature

The LHCB experiment is one of the detectors at the Large Hadron Collider. They measure subatomic particles called beauty quarks, hence the B in the LHCB. And what they've seen over a number of years now is sort of hints of them decaying in a way that isn't predicted by the standard model of particle physics. The theorists then obviously jump on this and reckon that it could be what they call a lepto quark or a z prime - these new force carrying particles.
