Frederick Layton he never got married and there isn't much that's we know about Frederick Layton the painter except that there weren't there didn't seem to be many women in his life. One theory that's out there is that he was homosexual but we're talking as you point out 1881 England where if you when is Oscar Wilde when does he go a little bit later I think like maybe a little bit yeah maybe alittle bit later for homosexuality he was so for what homosexual being homosexual he was.
