Is There a Wage Deflation?
In the last 18 months, we've seen all kinds of regimes get toppled, revolutions, hyperinflation, mass starvation. What we are not seeing is the devastation it's had on the rest of the world. Our entire system is based on policies that protect us over here while screwing them over there. A lot of this has to do with tariffs and subsidies on agricultural goods. We raise the cost of capital here, everybody else goes down. In order to save us, we've always had to sacrifice them.
