The Primary Unit and the Secondary Unit

Primary unit is something that is counted as one in a process of counting and relative to which everything else that is not a primary unit is counted as a secondary unit. So for instance the primary units are ordinary understanding of what the primary entities are in our experience. The secondary unit would be the audience itself, right, the collection of all these individuals which would be counted as one against let's say another collection of audience members in another room, right.
