The Threat of Food Security
The threat of food security is nothing new for developing countries. The committee was established in 19 74 when famining uncertainty around crop production was causing a food crisis. Chris says that the committee has come a long way since then, but the threat of hunger and mal nourishment are all still issues. When i spoke to him, he was in the airport travelling to a conference in stockholm to talk about sustainable food systems.
