Is Tridium on the Moon?
The fuel energy density is the highest. And for deep space mission, you need to have a very high energy density so that you can accelerate and be accelerated. Tridium has this 12 year half life, basically isn't available anywhere. There are several fusion processes that we can use after deuterium treatment which have advantages over DT,. Only that they would require even better confinement, even higher temperatures.
