How Many Do You Need to Correct a Quantum Computer?

In principle, there is no obstruction to building a quantum computer that is based on currently understood physics. The overhead is only by something like an O of one factor. Typical estimates would be on the order of hundreds or thousands of physical qubits to encode just a single logical qubit. So at that point you would be talking about millions of physical qu bits. Okay. There were a whole bunch of different things in that question. And how many would you need? Let me unpack it a little bit.
