The Prequels: The End of an Era

We never saw ground level what things were really like outside of Dex's diner, if you want to talk about the prequels. We weren't really presented with... Well, I guess it was okay back then because the people seemed like they had their freedom and they were not being oppressed. But we were seeing the end days. And Terence Stamps' character, all of a sudden, just the name went out of my mind. He was the last of that sort of grand old republic era. Then of course Palpatine was the big figure that really changed everything in so many ways.
