The White House's Strategy for Keeping China in Southeast Asia
The focus shouldn't be on countering China as because China's going to be there. All the countries of Southeast Asia are going to want to work with China. Countering that per se, I don't think is the goal in the sense of trying to limit that. And last but not least, stay engaged as much as possible, even when things don't go well.
