Blue versus red in the us is fractile. It's not geographically split like it was in 18 61. Even if one side wanted to declare war on the other side, any bomb will blow up a bunch of their own people vs others. That's why physical war, in the sense of, like formations of the 18 hundreds or 19 hundreds, is hard. If you go forward in the digital space, these two factions are highly separated. And that is actually the theatre of war. In words, it's in actions and signalling.
