Sufi Groups Are Not Suficly Purposive Groups
A sufi is someone who has completed the learning, not a learner in any sense. You can learn to be a sufi if a member of a group, only in a sufi group. Seekers are not sufis. The least that can happen is that imitation groups will proliferate because there is nothing which can be done to prevent this. Wisdom does not come out of ignorance. Out of ignorance and self deception may come a great deal of harm. It should be noted here that sufis are not claiming that the sufi group is some way superior to any other kind of group but it is simply quite different.
