Attraction Is Complicated

Receptors have different sensitivities and each receptor is attracted to different kinds of things. How does the brain know what feature this receptor responds to? We don't really know. Different people can smell the exact same thing and experience different smells. Some scientists are still trying to make a robot nose, despite how little we know.
