The Importance of Reaching Out to Parents
I think we reach out. You know, one of the things that has been very frustrating to me since my letter happened and since the sort of parents movement started was that this became such a partisan issue. This should not be a right left for public and Democrat issue. Most of the parents out there, when you talk to them, are not happy with the direction of these schools. So I think the education issue absolutely can motivate people in the center and in the center left.
