The Importance of Fear in Politics

I think most politicians don't want crises where they can fail. I'm not exactly sure that I agree with that. FDR reveled in the chance that big problems make for great solutions and great leadership. And I think that Joe Biden feels that. He enjoys doing what he does. But it's less in terms of because he'll go down in history as a great president. It would be because he was, not because he tried to manipulate it this way.
