The History of the Moslems in India

A large number of moslems arrived in india in the early thirteenth century from afghanistan and iran, apart from trans oxiana and centralesia. Mongol reeds in central asia had forced many of them to seek refuge in india. They were all moslems by religion, but belonged to different ethenic background, practised unique cultures and spoke separate languages. The new regime had been looking to create a business friendly climate for a change. There was an indirect observation here against the degree of sanctity associated with grand mosques built by the ulama.
