Don was there when they started doing rehearsals for the mass suicide at Jon's town. Black people were abused and manipulated in the lead up to the mass occur. All she could think of were all the important life events that she would miss out on. When I look at pictures of women and girls who lived in Jon's town, I see that possibility. I mourn for it.
