Is the Fear of the Lord a Name of God?
Two times in Genesis 31, a strange phrase that I have never read before in the Bible comes up. It's when Jacob is speaking and he refers to the Lord as the fear of Isaac. What does it mean? Well, there are different words for fear in Hebrew. This term is this term, pakkad, pay a very different dollar,. Different root, not related in any way.
