David's Suspicion of Saul
Chad, I think one of the most persuasive parts of this argument is the part where Jonathan is pointing out what should be obvious that David has made no plays for your crown. He's a nothing, but just served you and done whatever you've asked. If David had wanted to stage a coup at some point, I don't think it would have been very difficult for him to actually to, to take control of the kingdom. But as he will demonstrate, as he has demonstrated, over and over in the chapters that follow, he goes out of his way to avoid bringing any harm to Saul. We're going to get to more spear throwing and a little bit of a household idol hiding
