The Probation and Preparation of Adam and Eve
We are not punished for adam's transgression, but we are affected by it. And that's where our probation and preparation kicks in. They provide the necessary gravity, so to speak, so that we can actually build some muscles. Eve, you're going to taste death through cana abel, and you will come to prize life in ways you never had before. Adam, you will see your sons, so much of your posterity fall away. tasting the bitterness of that will make you prize all the more intensely the truths that i've taught you from eden on.
