The Perma Culture Trend
In the united states, it's deathly more of a fringe idea. A lot of that is pared to how we think about perma culture. And if you go to a lot of places outside of the us, ah, things like agroy colegy. Those principles exist that what they plant is in relation to their native and local ecology and history. We don't really have that here for a number of reasons, colonialism being the biggest one. But that doesn't mean we get to just kind of abscond our responsibility to the local ecology.
