The figures who Dante meets on purgatory figures like Balakwa and Sordello and certainly Statius further up Mount purgatory have learnt that their energy both masculine and in fact feminine. These things come together in all of us whatever our starting point is open up a third dimension so that you might say this kind of who you are the energy that you're learning to focus leads you into a more expansive sense of reality that leads you towards the divine.
