The Importance of Nature in Sarah Oran Jewett's Writing

Sarah Oran Jewett will become known for the local color and the local dialects that she's able to write in a very clear and beautiful way. She would go with her father and travel to kind of assist him in a lot of ways, but he had an extensive knowledge of nature and literature.
