The Importance of Rethinking Society the Meaning of Practices
I think you hit a good balance there that you are very respectful and compassionate towards the people you're writing about. Well also being very critical of the idea that well if we all just did these you know eco conscious household things it would be better. And I wind up advocating them for them because they're these interesting practices that just don't actually require more money or more time. Turning down your heat or air conditioning is definitely one of them but what it does require is rethinking what indoor comfort means in a country that's obsessed with being comfortable. The other one is bathing less and washing your clothes less. But I think that those are areas that people can start thinking about but what they require
