A brain is actually already preparing itself by changing the firing of its own neurons to taste something. Have you ever gone to take a drink out of a glass? Let's see, like a glass that's filled with clear liquid and you're preparing yourself. You're expecting water and maybe it's vodka or something. And what's really interesting is that if your brain has predicted well, so for example, when I showed you an apple and the apple was exactly as you predicted it. There's no information about this apple that would make it very far into your brain because the neurons are already firing in a way that capture the apple. So there's no new information that would, that would change
