How to Validate and Test a Model for Drug Trials
Professor Andrew Lowe is a professor at the MIT Sloan School of Management. He and his colleagues developed a model to predict which drug trials are likely to lead to approvals in the long run. Now, they're using that data to make predictions for biotech companies on a commercial basis. They also plan to launch a challenge where pharma companies will have to use their own proprietary data to see if they can beat them.
