The Power of Social Media

Sally Kohn: Social media has created the polarization that we see. She says it elevates ideas that sound good, irrespective of whether they're true or not. And as long as an idea sounds good, it will do well on Twitter and other social media, she says. But in the real world where you're immediately confronted with the silliest thing I've ever heard, you can't hold on to those ideas quite as readily., said Kohn.
