I suspect that the emotional and economic impact of olheimers it home for you when your father came down with the disease. I feel bad that there's no treatments that are really effective once someone becomes symptomatic. The reason i mention my mam dying at relatively young young age of 67 is my father was alone, and he wasn't getting any intellectual enrichment, ore even social enrichment. There's good epidemological data to suggest that staying intellectually engaged and socially engaged throughout your life, i is n important hedge against developing alsheimer's disease.
