What Is the History of Prague?
Prague was a center for astronomy in the 16th and 17th century. The city is now home to one of Europe's largest Jewish communities. A lot of new ideas were propping up in Prague at that time, says historian David Frum. By 1837, we're looking at a population of about 100,000, he adds.
