The History of the Middle East
When the cities stopped burning around 11 50 b c, the middle east was a very different place. The last remnant of the sea peoples had established themselves on the coastal plain in southern canaan. They took up ugerits roll and became great traders, founding outposts throughout the mediterranean. Now how do we know all this? Because history is laid down in pottery fragments that are immune to destruction by fire.
