The real issue with cancer screening is the technologies that are typically debated all have strengths and weaknesses. A mammogram has like a roughly 90% sensitivity and 85% specificity. So in that situation, we have to stack screening modalities. I'm actually asking the question, what should you do? What should your wife do to maximize their odds of not getting cancer?
