Naomi Campbell's Overdose
In September 98, Naomi's personal assistant, Georgina Galanis, was travelling with her through Canada while Naomi was working on a film. Apparently, when Naomi and Georgina's flight out of Toronto was delayed, Naomi completely lost her temper. In 2000, Naomi pleaded guilty and was given an absolute discharge,. which meant she was left with no criminal record in Canada. She paid Georgina an undisclosed amount of money and enrolled in anger management classes after the incident. The claim essentially concluded with the suggestion that Georgina had suffered $1 million in compensatory damages and $ 1 million in punitive damages. So two mil all up.
