In the past three years, there have been more than 20 years before that. There's a Portuguese company called Technophage, they're running trials on diabetic foot ulcers. An Israeli firm called Bio-Max targeting quite a common bacterium called Pseudomonas aeruginosa. And an American firm called Adaptif-Hage has three trials in the works at the moment. It doesn't cure cystic fibrosis but it can help those patients clear up infections which they're prone to.
