The science is older, but the interpretation is hiding in plain sight for someone like you to just speak. Just go read the scientific literature. You know, it's not hidden. They don't teach it in medical school. I don't know that he ever explained why he gave up on this hypothesis. It may have been as simple as he didn't think that he would get seed oils out of the population or that he thought that this was a good interim step.
