Negative yielding bonds are more or less the safe haven assets, right there? Can of well, theye used to be, but then we got into this weird situation where credit spreads was so tiny. That's the extra yield you get for taking the credit risk of investment grade panies. And when the risk free rate, which is what you get with government bonds, went deeply negative, well, adding a tiny positive thing on to that still made it negative.
