The Vibrant Life: Conversations Between Ivan and Illich
The title of my courses is the convivial life. It takes up a larger kind of view of this notion of conviviality. The subtitle is conversations between Ivan, the image and friends. During the course will notice that what he has to say about institutions is reflected in what he says about education. And then we're going to look at Iliach's notion of people versus systems. We're going to cover politics and governance. The religious life. And the good Samaritan which was a huge guiding and anchoring story are parable all the way through Ivan Iliach’s life.
