"I was devastated and I just didn't know what to post," she says. "If I had done it for attention, if I had gone into posting, being vulnerable on social media with the thought that this was somehow going to benefit me, people would have seen right through that." The actress posted a video of herself sobbing like hysterically after her mother died in 2011. She did not know what the reaction was going to be but wanted others to feel as bad as she did.
