Gerard's Influence on Spiritual Theology

René Girard was a French cultural anthropologist and literary critic. He had a rough time in academia because he became a Catholic, but he subtly evangelized. His work is deeply related to the Ignatian style of discernment that we need to go through in order to understand why we desire things.
