There's a way in which art is sort of like sitting in between and showing us the kind of realities that we're already within. I think this is one of those moments where our artistic practice and the world are kind of merging because we are seeing this. You know, mealworms and waxworms can both have both been shown to be able to digest plastics. And other kinds of bacteria that have been found in garbage dumps can also do this.
