What we are designed to look for are the imprints of early gravitation waves in the infant universe, if they exist. We're looking for departures from the basic underpinnings of all modern physics,. namely, laurence and variants. And that's called larence, laurence violation. If we find that, to me, that will be more interesting than discovering the origin of the universe.
