What Are P Type Semi Conductors?

Holes moving about the laddice and conducting electricity corresponds to electrons jumping into that hole and then making a new hole where they've moved from. P type semi conductor is just a semi, an intrinsic semi conductor. Silicon has four holes because it only has three valents electrons. In order to fit with the regular silicon bonding and fit in the rest of the lattic, it has to essentially steal one of the vainless electrons away from the silicon,. producing a whole. And that's where the positive charged holes come from.
