The Growth Equity Team at Goldman Sachs

The growth equity team has been making the growth stage investments for about 20 years, traditionally off of our balance sheet and we've invested almost 13 or $14 billion over that period of time. About two years ago, the team decided to raise an outside fund. So we raised a $5.2 billion outside fund with the outside LPs and we're writing $30 to $150 million checks in growth stage business. And I think really just trying to invest in businesses that have strong product market fit and need help scaling.
