LZ Granderson: We tend to think that a story is a fictional representation of the world of human experience. He says we are several generations away from having any idea what a story is. LZ: Literature is art and it has more in common with dance and painting and music than it does with theology or sermons. The effect of literature on children's imagination comes about through their moral imagination, he says.
