The Connection Between Perception and Action
I think it's worth emphasizing the connection between perception and action. If you can't move, if you can't act in any way, there would been very little reason to evolve a capacity for sight - absolutely. We have not evolved to perceive the world as it is for some abstract epistemological reason. We've evolved to perceive what's biologically useful. What's biologically useful is always connected,. at least, were talkin about the outside world to actions.
