The average number of sexual partners from men didn't like radically increase during the sexual revolution. Men in particular are using a lot of prostitutes as, you know, kind of a sexual bridging thing between sexual maturity and marriage. So these these quote unquote foundational marriages didn't always end well. They're responding to very real reasonable reasons to shift demand.
