The Budget Isn't About 'Oh, What Can I Find a Fault With'
I want people to know that this isn't about, oh, what can I find a fault with now? I've got to look at the situation as I see it, and what I think is right. The priority should be uplifting universal credit for people who are on the lowest incomes - because they are the most risk from the cost of living crisis. And putting in pay settlements across the public sector so that we get a fairness in that, so that services can function.
